February 14, 2010 – Origin India will once again create the perfect backdrop for a night of food, wine and romance. Chef Kuldeep Singh has created a sensual, aphrodisiac-laced multi-course tasting menu. - February 20, 2010 – Chef Kuldeep Singh has been invited to cook at the prestigious James Beard House in New York City. His dinner, “Modern, Refined Indian” will feature a delicious journey through his menu with each course paired perfectly with a wine provided graciously by Palm Bay. - April 15, 2010 – Origin India is partnering with BMC Fine Spirits to present a beer pairing dinner featuring Chef Kuldeep Singh’s cuisine matched with a selection of specialty import beers. - June 2010 – Thanks to everyone who supported Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation 2010. As the one of the city’s premier culinary events, Taste of the Nation works with local restaurants, chefs and mixologists to raise funds and awareness to support Share Our Strength’s efforts to end childhood hunger in the Las Vegas Valley and across the nation. The overwhelming success of this year’s event has inspired us to continue contributing to this great cause. For the month of June, Origin India will donate 10% of all proceeds to Share Our Strength to help feed our country’s hungry kids.

- June 20, 2010 – This Sunday is Father’s Day and Origin India is serving a special brunch buffet for the Dad in your life. The entire family can enjoy an extended selection of brunch, including cold dishes such as eggplant salad and garbanzo bean salad, potato cakes and lamb kabobs from the grill, and a curry station brimming with chicken makhani, three lentil dal and lamb korma. Choose from over 15 dishes, including dessert, for $20. To make this day even more special, Dads will receive a complimentary Krait Prestige Champagne Lager, a creamy, Belgian beer whose sweetness pairs wonderfully with Indian cuisine.

After Origin India’s participation in Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation, one of the city’s premier culinary events with local restaurants, chefs and mixologists, the overwhelming success of the event inspired owner Raja Majid to continue raising funds to contribute to this great cause.
“Over the past two years, Origin India continues to support philanthropic efforts throughout Las Vegas that are close to our hearts, and Share Our Strength’s mission is one we fully support,” says Majid, who in 2008 and 2009 was awarded the Nevada Restaurant Association’s Good Neighbor Award, a highly coveted award given to the restaurateur who goes above and beyond in support of community activism.

- August 30 - September 5: Dine out for a good cause! Origin India is taking part in Restaurant Week. From August 30 to September 5, Origin India will be showcasing a special three-course dinner menu for $30.10. A portion from each of these meals served goes to Three Square, a local food bank dedicated to eradicating hunger in Southern Nevada.
